The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G phone has been announced by OnePlus.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G phone has been announced by OnePlus.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is a gathering of the core specifications of the OnePlus Nord 2 phone in a new device, where CE stands for Core Edition, a tiny version of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, launched by the Chinese business OnePlus.

In other words, it's a smartphone that concentrates on the key features. This entails a long battery life, quick charging, a responsive screen with a high refresh rate, and adequate cameras. A headphone jack is also included.

OnePlus Nord 2 features a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, as well as a 4500 mAh battery with a 65W Super VOOC rapid charging and a charger included in the box.

However, in addition to altering the cameras, it comes with a Dimensity 900 5G chipset that supports 5G networks.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is significantly smaller at 7.8mm, but it has a headphone jack and a microSD card slot, which the OnePlus Nord 2 does not have.

The revised camera section on the rear holds a 64MP main lens, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro lens. In addition, instead of the 32-megapixel selfie camera found on the OnePlus Nord 2, the OnePlus Nord 2 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

At 349 euros, the new OnePlus phone is a good buy.

The Density 900 chipset from Mediatek is available with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. While the internal storage is limited to 128GB, you may extend it with a microSD card.

The phone runs Android 11 with the OxygenOS 11.3 user interface on the software side. Android upgrades are provided for two years, and security updates are provided for three years.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is available in two colors: Mirror Grey and Bahama Blue. The 6/128 GB variant will set you back 349 euros. In India, sales begin on February 22, whereas in Europe, sales begin on March 10.

It's worth noting that OnePlus has evolved significantly. The company began with a single flagship phone per year that was far less expensive than its more well-known competitors. However, this has recently changed.

The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are two flagship smartphones from the firm that are priced similarly to those of its competitors.

Under the Nord brand, it also sells a line of cheap mid-range smartphones.

Another shift for OnePlus over the years is that it has become more aligned with Oppo, another brand managed by BBK Electronics' parent company.
